Spider Monkey Stowaway

 

This spider monkey commandeered our ship for a time as we sailed down the New River toward the Mayan ruin Lamanai in Belize.

      We love monkeys (Shannon especially) and this was our first time seeing them in the wild. Very, very cool!

    I like all the different languages being spoken in the background .. monkeys totally creep me out — they were everywhere in the temples in Nepal. I can’t even watch this!!!

      Poor little monkey, why so harsh? LOL I can see them being a little unnerving in big groups like in the temples of Nepal, but what’s wrong with this little guy? He’s just looking for a banana, or three.
