We visited the Oregon coast last summer . . . LOVED it!! Rogue Brewery was a blast, wasn’t it? And those starfish . . . spectacular! Salud!!

We especially liked how the Oregon coast was so much different from the California coast. Both awesome in their own ways.

The Oregon coast is home to some of my favorite spots in the country. I’m so glad you had a chance to visit and enjoy it.

It’s understandable that you didn’t get to everywhere in our little photo tour. These shots took us about a month to put together. I guess we could have done it quicker but we do like to take our time. 🙂

It’s always good to take your time 🙂 We were only there for a few days as we were with family, but would love to go back and see the rest of it. I had no idea that there was so much more! Thanks for sharing.

And more even than we can show or visit. This only covers a portion of the coast. We’ll tackle the great city of Portland shortly and are looking forward to our upcoming trips to Bend, Ashland, and Crater Lake.

I lived in Oregon over 60 years and couldn’t agree more: the coast is lovely *if* you understand that it typically gets over 100 inches of rain a year. But when the sun comes out: ho boy! It’s grand!

I think we got a bit lucky with the weather. At first we weren’t sure we’d see anything because of all the fog. But for the most part, the weather cooperated.

Yeah, they’re adorable. We also recently learned that the Scots call them Muckle Coos which just makes them all the more squishable.

This is a nice photo tour, I especially like the fog-filled image at the beginning. Didn’t know that yaks exist in the USA!

Glad you enjoyed our beautiful state! We think it’s a pretty fantastic place to live. Also glad to hear that Teddy Roosevelt NP is great (that’s how I found your blog). We are driving there next week. Hoping we, too, will have a “Holy shit” moment 🙂
