So you’ve been to Fredericksburg. Can Luckenbach and Willie and Waylon and the boys be far behind?

We spent this past Easter Sunday in this church. I adore this church and the pastor was amazing. We travel to the ‘Burg several times a year. We love it there. I actually just did a post on my blog about F’burg.

It really is a beautiful church and Fredericksburg is quite lovely too – although F’burg sounds more interesting still. 😮

Brian – just found your blog via WeasleMouth and am looking forward to reading more.

I’m doing the same thing you are, traveling the country in my RV (since July) and writing about it. I’m also in Texas – Rockport, on the coast. If y’all are headed this way (and I highly recommend the scenery!!) I invite you to visit! I’m at Bay View RV Resort, but there are lots of great places to stay in Rockport. Safe travels!

Well Hi there. Thanks for stopping by. We’re out of Texas now but maybe we’ll see you on the road somewhere else. We’re making tracks northwest, with a rough itinerary here: https://everywhereonce.com/2012/04/16/where-next-an-update/

Also, our blog lags our travels a bit. We have more updated information as to our whereabouts on facebook. http://www.facebook.com/EverywhereOnce

      Happy travels,
      Brian

Did you guys do the rock dome outside Fredericksburg? It’s pretty cool. I’m moving to Belize for a year to do some serious writing and immerse myself in Spanish language and bang on me drums all day some days I’m sure. WAs thinking about that even before you guys blawged from there.

          Hi Paul,
If you mean Enchanted Rock, then yes, we spent an afternoon hiking around the area. It is a very nice state park.

How wonderful about moving to Belize. When do you leave?

I spent a summer on a summer job in my misspent youth in Rockport. Don’t remember much of it though except friends and I taking off for Mexico one night in the middle of the night. That’s kind of a blur. Love Rockport and Corpus though and love Fredericksburg area as well. My beloved Texas does have its charms here and there.

It would make my life to be married here one day…. I live about 30 minutes away so not a problem for my family. This church is just too beautiful ❤
