Beautiful images! magnificent display of 4 years of travels and so many fabulous places discovered! thanks for taking us with you!
Great photos. Must bring back many memories.
Stunning photography of some magnificent places.
These are great photos! You guys have certainly seen your fair share of places!
Question (it’s a bit blunt so please feel free to ignore me, or tell me to get stuffed), but I would love to know how you are able to afford doing this – for four years?!
Travel, although the best experience on earth, is expensive, even if living out of backpacks…. I am just slightly envious that you are able to do this – keep up the great blog 🙂
It’s a fair question and one we’ve written a fair amount about.
We start with the counter-intuitive idea that Traveling Full Time Really is Less Expensive then Staying at Home.
We then re-prioritized our life and completely changed our relationship with money. We’ve always been good savers but even then we spent at least five years specifically dedicated to saving for that trip.
During that time we also worked on building a freelancing business (How to Build a Mobile Business.)
We’ve done some travel hacking as well. And while that isn’t a major component to our lifestyle, it has reduced our costs and even allowed us to fly business class on the long flight from Asia to New York.
And lastly, we started with a realistic approach to How Much Long Term Travel Costs that has served us well thus far.
Thank you – I really appreciate this!
I’ll have a proper read through all the links you’ve supplied when I get home (having a sneaky peek here at work!)
High five to you guys! 🙂
Every photo is amazing, and having followed along your journey give them greater meaning. My two favourites are: the owl, a great capture of a magnificent animal, and the barn at Fruita, there is a real magic to that little place. (I’d drive back there for the pie alone 🙂 I took some photos from a similar vantage point, my camera resting on the fence, levelled with the lens cap and a small rock, as I didn’t have a tripod.
Wonderful. Such a neat way to see highlights and I like that there are links to the original posts.
Love these photos! Thank you for sharing, Would you be willing to share how you displayed these – is it with a particular WordPRess widget?
