The Glacier National Park is beautiful, I hope you come north on the Road to the Sun and see the Canadian counterpart, Waterton National Park. The union of the two parks in 1932 are known as the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park and are recongized as a Unesco World Heritage Site.

If you do go north into Waterton, you must do the Crypt Lake hike. It is truly memorable.

What is the purpose of the arches? It would be interesting to know why they made them to support the road bed versus some universally solid buttress.
