I saw this photo on my reader and thought “WOW! Is that for real?” Stunning colours and I love, love the pink tractor. I’m so sharing this post. Thanks for brightening my day. 🙂

Thanks so much. The place is for real. The tractor and the windmill are just for show, though.

Wow! When I saw this it felt like that moment in Wizard of Oz when everything goes from black & white to Technicolor. Thanks for sharing.

This is just a photo that I love a lot. I can see the character of each element is very strong and touching. You brilliantly captured a perfect composition of the subject. Lovely and stunning. What else?…. I wish that I could have it. Thank you for sharing with us.

This is so gorgeous! Pardon me for asking, but did you use any filter/anything on this photo? Or did you use any type of photographing technique while taking this photo? Because if not, holy smokes, that place is just like Candyland.–Sarah from http://www.locallookingglass.wordpress.com , http://www.facebook.com/locallookingglass

Thanks Sarah. No special technique in taking the shot (aside from the normal stuff – a small aperture to keep all the elements in focus and a downward adjustment to exposure because my camera tends to overexpose). I do edit all of my photos but the impact on this particular image is fairly subtle. I think the final product pretty closely approximates what we saw there.

Who ever heard of a PINK John Deere???? But great for the overall fantastic composition. So much there you almost overlook the snowy peak in the background!

Just great! Looks like the world in NEON!!! Instantly reminded me of being with my family (in the 50’s! …..I was 4!!!) in a similar place called Holland Michigan – wow! I got my own pair of wooden, painted shoes (Ouch!) and STILL remember petting the deer at their kiddie zoo – MAN, I must have been UBER impressed!! Thanks! …and keep on enjoyin’!

This tractor made me think it’s not real and for a second i thought it’s a painting. It’s just unbelievable…
