The Royal Palace, Phnom Penh

Royal Palace Throne Hall, Phnom Penh

We had begun to feel a little underwhelmed by the sightseeing at some of our last few stops in Asia. The Royal Palace in Phnom Penh cured us of that.

The Royal Palace is spectacular!! Have you visited the Grand Palace in Bangkok? It sounds just as great.

Yup. The Palace in Bangkok is even more amazing (and crowded 😦 ) than the one in Phnom Penh.

I remember visiting the palace when I was in Bangkok. Did you go to the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles? They have some wonderful stuff there. I hardly ever buy souvenirs but I bought some handcrafted items from the Museum (proceeds go to help the locals) which I love to this day. I even brought them all the way from Canada to Finland when I moved. 🙂

Just discovered your blog and I am reliving all my adventures… ❤

      Hi Jess,
We’re so glad you found us (and that you’re liking what you found 😉 ). We absolutely made it to the textile museum in Bangkok. A very cool place for sure.
